1. What I’m inspired by: The enterprising Naija spirit! I got to a Bank’s ATM this evening to withdraw some cash. The ATM was down but I saw 2 young ladies who let me know; “The ATM is not working, but we have POS.” It took some seconds to register, but after I saw people, who apparently were coming to the ATM, walk directly to them instead, I understood what was happening. These were regulars who had positioned themselves as the immediate alternative to a malfunctioning ATM. Talk about market targeting as seen on Lagos streets! #WeThrive #Inspite

2. What I’m reading: Do you know that; “A single Sunday edition of the New York Times today contains more information than typical 19th-century citizens faced in their entire lifetime”? That’s according to a 2014 study in the Journal, Computers in Human Behaviour. Here’s an insightful one explaining the science behind why we need less information and not more! https://lnkd.in/dSQHyvMT

3. What I’m excited about: Family and Life! This month hosts 3 birthdays of those near and dear; my sister Oshunwa Imosemi, mum and nephew. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!

4. What I did: Facilitated “The Next Economy Entrepreneurship Programme (Cohort 2)” by FATE Foundation . Topic was “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” and I had 2 goals; scare them away with the harsh realities of entrepreneurship AND strengthen their resolve to pursue the fulfilment that comes with treading those uncharted territories. I believe I successfully struck the balance. Always a delight to be in class. Thanks for the opportunity FATE Foundation and thanks Olaseni Fawehinmi for the recommendation.

5. What’s up: The holidays! Where did that go? I hear Monday is going to be a real marathon. A real rush! Everyone is resuming. What to do? Start practising deeeeep breaths while counting to 10. What am I gonn’ be doing? Cancelling all Monday meetings and whistling to “Easy like ‘Monday’ Mornings” from home. Have a beautiful one ahead.

Enjoy!
