A Conspiracy of Colours.#5WFs(64th)

1. What I’m inspired by: A sublime experience of the universe being on my side. Like Paul Coelho writes in The Alchemist, “When you want something, the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” So relax. If you want it, the universe is on your side.

2. What I’m reading: “Can a corporation “own” a colour?” This is a very educative piece on trademarks, patents and copyrights. When brands like Coca-Cola, Facebook or Louboutin lay claim to colours as basic as “blue” or “red”, what’s left for the rest of us? How does this really work? Check it out, plus some classic brand colour wars here: https://bit.ly/3PvON7N

3. What I’m excited about: Celebrating longevity in good health with friends this weekend. Congratulations to our friend, the one and only Omotola Egbedeyi on the 70th birthday of her mum. Mummy, e ma pe fun wa o. #TECFamily

4. What I did: Convened the 2022 Global Bookbased Learning Summit! What a win! What a wow!! Thanking all our partners, participants, facilitators and supporters too numerous to tag (lol). It really does takes a village. Did you miss this? Then check out replay of live sessions on my feed here on LinkedIn or send email to contact@brandleesolutions.com to get curated links shared with you. Gracias!

5. What’s up: i.) The recent revelation by SVP Google that 40% of young people turn to TikTok and Instagram for search rather than Google. https://tcrn.ch/3PM2e3b Question; should your business jump on TikTok or stay with YouTube? This right here could help you decide: https://bit.ly/3OxuB57

ii.) A cramp on summer plans and post-covid liberation, courtesy the Marburg virus? *Sighs*. Here is the NCDC providing preventive guidelines for our safety. https://bit.ly/3PSZMs1 Be safe everyone.

Every Friday-ish, I do a quick round up of 5 things; What I’m Inspired by, What I’m Reading, What I’m Excited About, What I Did and What’s Up! These are my takes on 5 significant, sublime and sometimes silly stuff! Follow me on Medium so you don’t miss this! Feedback’s great so don’t forget to clap, like, comment and share with others. Again…enjoy! #5WhatsFridays
