1. What I’m inspired by: The legacy of Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II. In the BBC Platinum Jubilee marking documentary “The Unseen Queen” she says, “…I know that the only way to live my life is …to take the long view…it’s a question of maturing into something…” In today’s ever dynamic world, may we have the courage and patience to take the long view, to wait, to pace ourselves, and to mature …into legacy.

2. What I’m reading: “Is Social Media making us stupid?” How did we all get conditioned to impress rather than express, perform instead of connect? Does it get better — or worse, and how is this a Tower of Babel experience? This piece lifts some layers. Long one and totally worth it. https://bit.ly/3Qs5BfO

3. What I’m excited about: The lessons from LEAP Africa Social Innovators Programme Award #sipa2022. I participated virtually and I’m not saying it was “insightful” as a buzz word. It really was. Thanks to Henry Kaestner who expounded on how to get others on the bus with you as an entrepreneur, Efosa Ojomo who highlighted the importance of the right theory and inequality of innovation. I’m only half-way through the video and already have copious notes! If you are an entrepreneur or/and play in the social space, please put this video in your calendar: https://lnkd.in/dx4wjqBh Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli Faith Driven Entrepreneur Faith Driven Investor

4. What I did: Conducted strategy sessions as volunteer consultant for FATE Foundation entrepreneurs. You see those “aha!” expressions from the entrepreneurs? Unmatched! Thanks for the opportunity FATE Foundation. Eseosa Aikhionbare. Adenike Adeyemi

5. What’s up: Loads of documentaries, commentaries and imageries as we journey to the past and then move forward with the British monarchy. Queen Elizabeth was one of the most photographed persons in history with some of these images, rare and priceless. On the subject of rare photographs, staff at an Ottawa hotel recently discovered that an original print from a limited edition, the iconic and famous picture of the statesman Winston Churchill known as “Roaring Lion”, had been swapped for a fake, in an apparent heist! Enjoy!
